About Us Who are We? The Rex Manor was established in 1935 as a local tavern and restaurant in the center of Brooklyn, New York. Our name comes from the S.S. On Thursday May 20, 2010 I held the an American Cancer Society Relay for Life Fundraiser at the Rex Manor. From the moment I stepped foot into The Rex Manor I knew it was the perfect place to hold this event. I walked into the room Thursday night and I was brought to tears. The presentation of the room was amazing, it was lit with ...purple lights to match the Relay Color Scheme, everything was immaculate! The Staff and the Maitre d' Cosimo made certain that every guest that entered the event was met with outstanding service! I couldn't have asked for a better evening, from the beautiful room to the food to the overall experience it was nothing less than perfect. Thank you to Tommy Kafkalas, Angelo, Cosimo and everyone at the Rex Manor for making this event perfect and for helping raise over $3000 for Cancer Research! Everyone that attended the event cannot stop raving about The Rex Manor. I will most definitely spread the word and have many many more parties at your hall!
